(Name) dodged the knife as it swung towards her face. This job wasn't as easy as she had expected. She had figured a lone wraith wouldn't be any problem for them. They could take care of it easy. Especially with the help of her boyfriend, Castiel. Cas was currently looking around for more clues, and hadn't located this wraith as soon as (Name) had.

(Name) swung her knife at the wraith, and it squealed as it felt the silver cut through the skin of its face. (Name) swept the wraith's legs out from under it with her leg. She quickly hopped onto the wraith, straddling it. She pinned down his wrists with her feet, and prepared her knife to make the movement that would end this madness quickly. But before she even saw it coming, the wraith bucked its hips, throwing (Name) off balance, and had (Name) pinned instead of the other way around as it had been only a few seconds before. The wraith would have taken the opportunity to drink the fluids of (Name)'s brain, had (Name) not broken off its spike moments before.

(Name) then noticed that her knife had left her possession. The wraith held the knife in its hands and looked at (Name) menacingly. Then, it plunged its knife into (Name)'s abdomen. She felt a searing pain that was like a white hot fire. She tried not to let out a scream, but to no avail. She screamed again as she felt the wraith twist the knife in her insides. It felt as if someone were mixing all her insides in a large mixing pot.

A moment later, the wraith was thrown from her hips, She heard the wraith let out a cry as it was silenced forever, and then she felt a familiar warmth next to her. She opened to see Cas next to her. He looked concerned as he noticed her abdomen was bleeding profusely. He reached for his cell phone, and then he realized he had left it in the car, and the car was many blocks away. He reached for (Name)'s cell phone, but it was smashed to pieces a few feet away. He began to do what he had learned needed to be done to help any severe cut or wound.

“How many stitches do you think I will need?” she asked with a small laugh, causing her to grimace.

Cas showed a weak smile as he tried to make her quiet. “It's going to be okay,” he said as he smoothed down her hair.

“Cas, don't lie to me,” was all she said.

He let out a sigh. If only he had gotten here sooner. If only he still had his powers, but these “if only”s weren't helping (Name).

A moment later he heard a cell phone ring. It was coming from the dead wraith. He quickly leaned over and grabbed it, but he didn't dare let go of (Name).

He declined the incoming call, and he quickly called 911. He reported the situation to the dispatcher, or at least what he could without seeming like a complete lunatic.

“I called the emergency services,” he said as he held onto (Name)'s hand.

“Cas,” she coughed out. “I don't think I am going to make it.”

“You will (Name). You will. You have survived a almost fatal wound before.”

“I think this one has crossed the line between almost fatal and fatal Cas. I don't think there is any getting out of this. Not this time,” she said. Her voice was growing fainter with each word she spoke.

Cas kissed her forehead. He didn't think she would either, but he didn't want to let her know that. She had been the best thing to happen to him since he had come to Earth. She was always caring towards him, and was always on the lookout for him.

“Just promise me one thing Cas,” she whispered.

“Anything,” he said.

“Once I am gone keep it that way. When I die I need to stay dead. Don't bring me back. At all. Ever. Promise me that much.”

“I promise,” he said as he heard the sirens in the distance.

“I love you,” you she murmured as her body began to relax, bringing her to the never ending sleep known as death.

“I love you too.” he whispered as he leaned over her now empty body.

I am now accepting requests! Here is the catch! You have to send a note. Not just a comment. Not that difficult. However, Grace has not yet started writing requests yet. Just me.

This one here was requested by :iconshaneastiel: sorry if this wasn't too depressing. I am just now getting into the depressing stuff.
